We’re happy to report that Charlie Sheen has declared emphatically, “I’m not crazy any more.” Good news indeed!

Sheen chatted it up with reporters on Sunday night at the Fox Network Television Critics Association party in Pasadena. Regarding all that nasty business in 2011, it’s apparently a thing of the past.

The former Two and a Half Men star acknowledges, “That was an episode. I think I’m a different person than I was yesterday. Everything is a lot more mellow and focused and much more rooted in reality.”

Will he ever mend fences with former boss Chuck Lorre? We found this response very interesting, albeit a little vague, “At some point we are going to have to get some closure there.”

So what has Charlie been up to? He’s working on his new FX show Anger Management. Casting is underway and they’ll begin shooting the first 10 episodes six weeks from now.

He claims to be “goddess free” and keeping it real with his loved ones, “I’ve been spending a lot of time with the kids, a lot of time with the family and I’m getting back into work mode. I’m a single guy hanging out with my children.”

Lest you think that ‘Old Charlie’ has completely disappeared, he did post a Twit pic over the weekend at the request of @playboy_steph. Check it out after the jump:
