Former Cheers cast mates Kirstie Alley and Rhea Perlman will be reunited in a new ABC sitcom The Manzanis.
The award-winning actresses were part of the iconic ensemble cast that enjoyed eleven seasons of comedy antics in the 1980’s.
In the new show Alley will play a woman who lives in a wacky New Jersey neighborhood with her family. Perlman will be cast in the role of her mother-in-law.
Kirstie breathed new life into her career last year when she appeared on season twelve of Dancing with the Stars. She finished in the runner-up spot and shed 100 pounds during the rigorous training schedule.
