The third week of Dancing with the Stars competition was dubbed Most Memorable Year Week. Each of the remaining ten celebrity contestants performed a dance that was to tell a personal story.

Landing at the top of the leader board for a second week are Ricki Lake and her pro partner Derek Hough. They performed a Rumba to Gravity and earned three 9’s for a season high score of 27.

Tied at 26 for their Rumba performances are Chynna Phillips and J.R. Martinez. She and pro Tony Dovolani danced to Hold On, and he and Karina Smirnoff chose the emotional Tim McGraw song about war, If You’re Reading This.

Four celebs were awarded 24, landing them in the middle of the pack. They were Rob Kardashian, Kristin Cavallari, Hope Solo and David Arquette.

While Cavallari launched into a sexy samba to the tune Crazy in Love, her ex-fiance Jay Cutler sat sandwiched between her father and brother in the audience, clearly wrapped up in the moment and enjoying the experience.

Carson Kressley earned a 23 for his Tango to It’s My Life. Nancy Grace picked up a 21 for her Waltz to Moon River.

At the bottom of the barrel with a dismal score of 18 are Chaz Bono and his pro partner Lacey Schwimmer. They earned straight 6’s for a Rumba that was performed to the strains of the vintage Sonny Bono tune Laugh at Me.

Chaz came out wearing a fur vest, a nod to his deceased father. His ungainly performance and unflattering dance costume did nothing to endear him to the audience or the judges.

Despite all of the hype that DWTS tried to wrap around Chaz and his transformation story, he simply hasn’t been able to find his dance gene. We predict he’ll get the boot tonight.

Check out Chaz in his fur vest, and the touching performances of Chynna, J.R. and Ricki below:
