If you are a fan of A&E’s Storage Wars, then you are already into watching people bid on abandoned storage units — with $$ dancing in their heads as they hope to hit it big.

Recently that happened for one lucky bidder who paid $400 for a trash filled unit that included an old trunk.

JACKPOT! The vintage container held a whopping $24,000 in cash … but there was a strange catch. The previous owner had defaced every bill by cutting away the faces.

Dan and Laura Dotson run the auction company and spoke with TMZ about the “mountain of cash.” Is the money still useable? Yes. The U.S. Treasury says a bank will indeed accept bills without faces as long as both serial numbers are still intact and the bills pass a series of tests.

You can check out new episodes on A&E Wednesday nights at 10/9c.
