Sexy Salsa falls flat with the judges …
Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Karina Smirnoff took exception to some “rude” comments that were made by judge Bruno Tonioli while he was critiquing her sexy Salsa with Karate Kid actor Ralph Macchio.
During the semi-final episode on the hit ABC show, Karina and Ralph performed three routines. For their Salsa, the Playboy model was dressed in a tight-fitting, leopard-skin catsuit. Macchio donned a fake butt in order to beef up his flat backside. After the routine was complete, Bruno dropped a couple of bombshells, including one that got bleeped by the network censors.
He said: “You were too rough with your pussy, darling.” Karina’s eyes got big and she gestured to Tonioli while exclaiming: “Wow … wow.” She turned her back on him while the audience booed.
Bruno also turned on Ralph with a snarky comment: “Well you definitely went for a bad-ass Salsa … and you’re wearing extra large diapers.”
Macchio responded after the show: “That was just an unprofessional thing to do. I thought the performance went great. This was a chance to just break out and be funny.”
Smirnoff was angry: “It was just inappropriate and rude and uncalled for. We actually delivered a Salsa that the judges have been asking us for the whole season. We work our butts off and rely on our fans to keep us in the competition.”
