Fans have been anxiously anticipating the release of the new Beyonce music video Run the World (Girls). The first single from her forthcoming album 4 will premiere Wednesday night on American Idol.
Not only will you get to see the Top 3 Idol contestants battle it out, but you will also get to see Bey’s video, which was shot in the Mojave Desert in California. She used eight different choreographers, and hired Mozambican kwaito dance group, Tofo Tofo, to perform.
The video was supposed to have been released last week but she delayed the release in order to “perfect it.” With the delay came a golden opportunity to premiere the video during Idol, one of the most viewed shows in America.
Beyonce will put the video up on her website following tomorrow night’s Idol broadcast. In the meantime, check out some sneak peek footage below:
