Miley Cyrus told the world through her music over the last year that she can’t be tamed and now that she is a legal adult, that doesn’t seem like such an outlandish statement or song theme.
The talented former Disney star was barely seventeen when she began to shed her good girl image, making her a constant media target. There were nip slips, multiple wardrobe malfunctions, older boyfriends and lap dancing — all clear signals that the Hannah Montana star wanted to grow up fast. Today it’s official. Cyrus is 18 and can finally call her own shots, presumably without further controversy.

The singer celebrated her milestone birthday at Hollywood hot spot Trousdale and was seen making out with Canadian actor Avan Jogia… so much for the rumors that she had rekindled her relationship with Liam Hemsworth.
The singer was red carpet hot at the AMA’s Sunday night.
