According to the director of the biopic Inferno, the role of famed porn star Linda Lovelace will not be played by Lindsay Lohan.
Matthew Wilder said: “We are withdrawing our offer from Lindsay Lohan. We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support. Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her — and some other issues — have made it impossible for us to go forward.”
Who will take over the role? Wilder would only say: “We are currently in negotiations with another actress and working out the legalities of bringing her onboard.”
What does Lohan’s camp have to say on the subject? According to TMZ, the role no longer felt right to the rehabbing celeb and she decided to drop out of the project so that she can focus more on her recovery.
