Last week Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce from his wife Leticia ‘Tish’ Cyrus. US Weekly claims that the reason for the split was an affair between Tish and musician Bret Michaels.
The family became close to the rocker in February when he and Miley released a duet Nothing to Lose – see video below. That is reportedly when Michaels and Tish began carrying on a secret fling. Miley’s mom reportedly attended Bret’s February 28 show at the Key Club in L.A.
Bret and his girlfriend Kristi Gibson have been on-and-off for 16 years.
Tish’s rep denies that there was ever a dalliance, however, US Weekly‘s source claims: “It was a professional relationship that turned into something more.”
The Achy Breaky Heart crooner reportedly filed immediately after discovering his wife’s infidelity. The couple have three minor children: Miley, 17, Braison, 16, and Noah, 10. They have three older children from previous relationships.
