There’s no question that Glee has become a pop culture phenomenon. Cast members Dianna Agron, 24, Lea Michele, 24, and Cory Monteith, 28, are taking over the cover of GQ magazine with the banner headline Glee Gone Wild! The move has some questioning why they’ve decided to make the provocative statement when their fans are underage teens.

The hit FOX show about a high school glee club has morphed into a racy photo shoot by the celebrity cast members. Somehow it seems a bit of a stretch to go from high school wholesome to panties and high heels — but sex does sell and in real life, this trio is certainly old enough to pose.

With several hit soundtrack albums, a sold-out concert tour and a cult-like fanbase – apparently the show decided that sexy was the only avenue left to explore. When your audience is made up of underage kids, is it really appropriate to flaunt it in their faces? Does this send the wrong message to impressionable teens who want to be like their television idols – or are we just being naive?

Fans aren’t the only people a little thrown off by the risque photos. Even one of the participants is still a little surprised by it all. Lea Michele admits: “I don’t know how they got me to do half the stuff I did.”

Dianna, Lea and Cory now have racy pics to add to their portfolios and their young fans have gotten an eyeful.
