L.A. Fashion Week – WTB Collection Spring-Summer 2011
Following in the footsteps of Heather Locklear is her 13-year-old daughter Ava Sambora, an up-and-coming model who graced the runway on Sunday during L.A. Fashion Week.
Strutting fashions from the Spring and Summer 2011 WTB Collection, the blonde younger version of her actress mother carried herself with authority and stage presence befitting a much older and more experienced runway model.
Sitting in the front row alongside Locklear, to take in their daughter’s every move, was proud dad Richie Sambora. The couple’s divorce was final in 2007 but they have been successful at setting aside their differences when it comes to their only child.
Locklear began her own modeling career while in college and went on to become a successful actress. The 49-year-old did a stint in rehab earlier this summer and is reportedly doing well after completing a 30-day in-patient program at an Arizona treatment facility.
Ava’s runway work is wholesome, thus far, unlike young celebrities Kendall Jenner and Georgia May Jagger who have been involved in some decidedly provocative photo shoots.
