University of Washington student Carly Henley was found dead in a stairwell around 4:30 pm Wednesday.

A passerby called 911 after discovering Henley’s body while walking through a parking lot behind the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. The witness told police Henley appeared to be dead and may have fallen through a hole.

The cause of death has not been determined, and while Seattle police say all evidence points to suicide, Henley’s death is currently listed as “suspicious.”

Further examination is being conducted by the King County Medical Examiner.

Phi Delta Theta released a statement Wednesday, saying ” “Earlier today, a body was found on the grounds of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity at the University of Washington. The chapter is cooperating fully with UWPD and Seattle Police Department officers. There are no further details, and we request that you respect SPD and UWPD in their ongoing investigations.”

The 20-year-old aspiring singer/songwriter frequently shared her music on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Myspace.

Below is the last video Henley posted on YouTube on September 3, covering Gavin Degraw’s “Chariot.”
