It looks like Donald Trump has found his running mate.
While most of the free world has come down hard on Donald Trump for his views on immigration, Republican Jan Brewer told Don Lemon on Wednesday night that the Presidential hopeful is dead on accurate.
"I believe that Mr. Trump is kind of telling it like it really, truly is," the former Arizona Governor said, adding:
"I think that the people of Arizona realize that we picked up the tab for the majority of the violence that comes across to our border with regards to the drug cartels, the smugglers, the drop houses.
"It has been horrendous. And, of course, they come through Arizona and therefore, end up in other states and go throughout the country."
Trump has said most Mexican immigrants are rapists and drug users.
He’s doubled down on the comments in every interview, never backing down from his controversial views.
Asked if Trump should "change his tone," as the Republican National Committee Chairman has suggested, Brewer admitted she hasn’t heard everything he’s said… although she can click on the above link to see the only quotes that matter here.
"I just know what I have lived through, being resident and governor of the State of Arizona," Brewer said.
"That we have a horrendous problem. And we’ve got an illegal immigration problem in our country. And I think the people overwhelmingly understand and realize that.
"And we have to find a solution, and that solution is getting our border secured so we can deal with the other issues."
Despite his scandalous take, Trump is currently running second among Republican hopefuls for President and somehow believes he will win the Latino vote if nominated.
