Sean Penn, Jim Carrey and Benicio Del Toro have been tapped by director siblings, the Farrelly Brothers, to co-star in a movie based on comedy icons The Three Stooges. Don’t expect a biopic, but rather a refreshing new look at the antics of the zany trio.
Oscar winner Penn will play Larry Fine, while Carrey and Del Toro will play Curley and Moe Howard. Sean’s last comedy project was the 1989 film We’re No Angels.
