Celine Dion has checked into St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida to await the birth of twin sons. The singer’s due date is in early November.
The 42-year-old Canadian has been hospitalized as a precautionary measure. Doctors recommended this step because of her history of pregnancy issues and her age.
Dion and husband Rene Angelil have one son, 9-year-old Rene Charles.
Last week Rene shot down rumors that suggested his wife planned to deliver the twins via C-section on October 22. He was emphatic in saying: “There is nothing scheduled. We do not have a date for the babies’ birth.”
