A star-studded extravaganza was held for Oprah Winfrey at the Chicago United Center this week. The two-episode special will air on Monday and Tuesday, a prelude to The Oprah Winfrey Show finale on Wednesday, May 25.
The guest list for Surprise Oprah: A Farewell Spectacular was a veritable Who’s Who in the entertainment industry.
Appearing on stage in front of a crowd of thousands: Maya Angelou, Patti LaBelle, Beyonce, Madonna, Dakota Fanning, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Maria Shriver, Gayle King, Rascal Flatts, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Queen Latifah, Usher, Stevie Wonder, and Aretha Franklin were just a few of her long time friends and associates who showed up to celebrate Oprah.
