After months of speculation, Van Halen officially announced a 2012 tour with David Lee Roth back at the helm.
The tour will feature Roth, guitarist Eddie Van Halen, bassist Wolfgang Van Halen and drummer Alex Van Halen.
In November, Van Halen began working on its first full-length studio album with Roth on vocals since “1984,” which included the hits “Jump,” “Panama,” and “Hot for Teacher.”
Van Halen’s 2007 reunion tour reportedly grossed $93 million.
The major 2012 tour will mark the 40th anniversary of the band, with specific tour dates available soon. Tickets go on sale January 10th.
