During results night on American Idol Thursday April 26, the Top 6 finalists were reduced by one member after the nationwide vote totaling 85 million.
Katy Perry rocked the house during the one-hour show that was kicked off by a Queen extravaganza.
The performances on Wednesday were a mixed bag, with the judges giving high praise to Skylar Laine, Joshua Ledet and Jessica Sanchez for each of their musical selections.
Phillip Phillips impressed Ryan Seacrest’s gorgeous girlfriend Julianne Hough which led to an amusing few minutes that including a backstage view of the Rock of Ages celeb.
Hollie Cavanagh and Elise Testone didn’t thrill the judges during the first round but the young British-Texas teen redeemed herself with a Miley Cyrus rendition of The Climb.
The bottom three were Skylar, Elise and Hollie.
