A man was arrested after getting out of a car in the Holland Tunnel just outside New York City and defecating in a toll booth, Port Authority police say.

Kevin Nam, 21, apparently felt the call of nature Friday night.

Officials saw him exit a car traveling in the northbound side of tunnel, which connects N.Y. and New Jersey, walk inside a toll booth, drop trou and do his thing.

Naturally, this stopped traffic on the already congested road.

Nam had been in the car with three other passengers about 10 p.m. when he felt sick and told the driver to let him out as they headed through the tunnel.

This earned him a trespassing charge, and forced the closure of the tunnel for about 5-10 minutes as police conducted a “standardized security sweep.”

No word if he also paid the toll – which ranges from $13 (!) to $4.25 with E-Z Pass and a carpool discount for three or more passengers – on top of his “deposit.”

He could have been hit with much worse, but given the circumstances, law enforcement must have felt bad for him and let him off with a low-level charge.
