According to legal documents obtained and made public by People Magazine, the former Fox & Friends co-host takes serious issue with the way her ex-boss treated her during her time at hos network.

Carlson is alleging that her "Ailes has unlawfully retaliated against [her] and sabotaged her career because she refused sexual advances and complained about severe and pervasive sexual harassment."

A Stanford University graduate and the winner of Miss America in 1989, Carlson Carlson moved to Fox News Channel in 2005.

Once there, became the co-panelist of the aforementioned morning program Fox & Friends alongside Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade.

In 2013, she announced her departure from Fox & Friends (with Elisabeth Hasselbeck coming on board as her replacement) and soon thereafter launched a new series titles The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson.

On June 23, Ailes (pictured below) fired Carlson.

Based on her lawsuit, Carlson believes she was let go because, nine months earlier, Ailes allegedly had suggested she engaged in a sexual relationship with him.

When she refused, Carlson states she was "[ostracized, marginalized and shunned."

Carlson also takes aim at Doocy in her lawsuit.

She writes that he "regularly treat[ed] her in a sexist and condescending way" when they worked as colleagues, "engaging in a pattern and practice of severe and pervasive sexual harassment" that was akin to treating her as "a blond female prop."

Moreover, Carlson alleges that the 76-year old Ailes referred to her as a "man hater" when she complained to him in 2009 about Doocy’s behavior.

She writes in the papers that he subsequently "pursued a highly personal agenda" by limiting her assignments and exposure on Fox News, eventually firing her from Fox & Friends in 2013.

This firing led to a pay cut.

Carlson is seeking an undisclosed amount for "lost compensation, damaged career path, damage to reputation and pain and suffering damages."

Neither Ailes nor Doocy has issued a response to this lawsuit.
