Who ya gonna call if you want to bust some ghosts?
Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon and Melissa McCarthy. This quartet of actress has been cast in the all-female reboot of Ghostbusters.
But who ya gonna call if you want to speak with the women who will bust some ghosts and who is gonna answer said call?
Oh, yes, the man behind Thor has been cast as the receptionist in the upcoming comedy.
“Our receptionist. #whoyougonnacall,” director Paul Feig tweeted last night, nearly shattering the Internet by making the surprise announcement.
In the original Ghostbusters, Annie Potts took on the role of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson’s characters’ receptionist.
This time around, however, the women will try to save the world without being distracted by last year’s Sexiest Man Alive answering phones at their place of work.
“Those four ladies I have starring in it are so funny and that’s half the battle,” Feig said in a recent interview about the Ghostbuster remake, due in theaters July 2016.
“I’m going to battle with the best army I have.
"My whole crew from all my other movies have come aboard, and some great special effects people have come aboard – I have never really done this level of effects before – and I’m excited!”
