Indeed, it was an eventful evening for Miley Cyrus at the VMAs, as the artist first stunned on the red carpet and then truly shocked with a raunchy, random rendition of "We Can’t Stop."
The performance nearly broke Twitter… and not in a good way, as numerous celebrities, lay folks and even national magazines got in on the act of mocking Miley for what came across as a desperate, stripper-worthy few minutes on stage.
Let’s just say Rihanna and One Direction weren’t the only ones unimpressed.
