Amanda Bynes’ good name has been restored. Sort of.
If nothing else, one celebrity news report about her recent downward spiral is BS. Just as she insisted, the actress was NOT nude and parading around a tanning salon.
In Touch recently claimed Bynes, 26, looked “painfully thin” and “totally out of it” while visiting an NYC tanning salon, where she walked around buck naked.
“She didn’t seem to care that everyone saw her naked,” according to an alleged witness … who was apparently making the story up or made up by the tabloid.
Beach Bum Tanning CEO James Oliver says, “Employee testimony and security footage have confirmed that Ms. Bynes was not acting inappropriately.”
“She is a long-time client and we stand by her account.”
Unfortunately, Bynes’ headline-making days aren’t all bogus; she’s pleaded to two separate counts of hit-and-run driving and could face up to a year in jail.
She is also facing one DUI charge and two charges of driving on a suspended license. Not looking good for the starlet, but at least she’s keeping her clothes on.
