Ha, ha, I agree with John above. I don’t necessarily LIKE Ann Coulter’s views but I think our society is sick and wrong for always going for the cheap shot at a powerful woman’s looks.

Nobody is hanging out dissecting the looks of, say, Al Franken. That guy looks like a non-green Yoda. Even Michael Moore who is a REPULSIVE SPECIMEN of manhood gets called fat in passing but nobody ON A NEWS PROGRAM says, “So, like, would YOU do him?” Nobody.

That’s because in the pervasively patriarchal media men are not SEX OBJECTS held up to inspection and then judgement of their fuckability almost immediately after they say something in public.

It’s fucking disgusting.

First off, Moore gets bashed on his looks all the time. Page Six and other conservative outlets never fail to mention his obesity or his sloppy dressing.

Secondly, I would agree with you on the issue of discussing Coulter’s looks if she herself didn’t use her (so-called) looks ot get ahead. There are a lot of conservative female pundits who don’t get the airtime Ann does because they aren’t skinny blondes. She gets airtime and press simply because of her looks. If she looked like Kate O’Beirne, Kathryn Jean Lopez or Maggie Gallagher, we wouldn’t even be talking about her.

Besides, Coulter herself insults other people for their looks on a numerous basis. Her column for USA Today was canceled a couple of years ago because she spent three or four paragraphs on how “physically repulsive” and “smelly” Democratic women were. Don’t ask me to feel sorry for her – she brings this shit on herself. When she stops mocking others for their looks, I’ll stop mocking her for hers.

In most circles, she’d never get a second look except to take in her gawkiness. However, women who aren’t very atrractive physically can get to be perceived as beautiful when they are heard and their peronalities are experienced. No salvation for Coulter there, unfortunately – it only exacerbates her gawky, skeletonlike, ghostly appearance.

Most of the ignorant comments above about her (an obviously attractive woman) being so ugly along with whoever agrees with her ugly as well, is specifically described in her books as the liberal’s responce to anything remotely conservative. Ann is honest and very attractive, liberals are selfish and blind if they can’t see that, which they are! and very much so.
