The perils of filing your weekend gossip column on Friday, courtesy Page Six’s Sunday column:
PARTY princess Lindsay Lohan will begin recording her second album this summer. The starlet, who did a bit of singing on her film, “A Prairie Home Companion,” told MTV the album will have an “urban pop” sound. She said it “will take four months” to make and she’s collaborating with Maverick Records and CEO Guy Oseary. Lohan’s first album, “Raw,” begged the media to “just let her live,” though after her recent admission to loving the paparazzi’s attention, she might be singing a different tune.
And after this arguably glowing Linds item, the Page didn’t carry any mention of the event in Monday’s column, either. Is Leslie Zelnik owed a favor?
In the end, Linds’ publicist will need more than that to avoid the coming onslaught of bad PR. First up: In Touch claims Lohan is heading back to rehab, this time choosing Promises in Malibu — Britney Spears’ choice in returning to sanity for a week or more.
