Some are wondering if Barack Obama???s loss last night was due to the Bradley Effect.
Haven???t heard of it? Then you haven’t been watching enough cable news!
Not to make you feel stupid, but the phenomenon is the propensity for white people to pretend (while responding to exit polls or otherwise) to be voting for a black candidate during polling because they don???t want to seem racist. And when it???s just them and the curtain, they???re all, “Psych! I really am racist because there???s nothing more racist that supporting a non-black candidate for separate and unique political reasons.”
But we exaggerate. And conflate. A lot of stuff went down in New Hampshire this weekend.

If Barack Obama had won New Hampshire last night, the long primary campaign would end, leaving us with only a year long general election campaign. But with Hillary???s resurgence last night, the primary show just got renewed.
Readers were undecided about whether Hillary’s near-tears were real or politically motivated. Either way, are they responsible for her win yesterday?
Katherine Heigl wishes the media would leave Britney Spears alone. Well, at least she’s not commenting on politics because, let’s be real: she probably knows more about the Britney situation than the New Hampshire primary.

So, today is the New Hampshire primary. And yesterday Hillary Clinton almost cried.
And voters have been saying all along that Hillary is just a machine. But machines don???t cry. Or do the really advanced ones do?

So if you???re the kind of person who likes to gamble on the future of our nation, Barack Obama and John McCain winning the primary today in New Hampshire seems like a good bet. Because as some outlets are admitting, the media has a huge crush on both of them.
