Tracy Morgan is recovering well after undergoing a kidney transplant on December 10. The actor has been written out of two 30 Rock episodes but plans to resume his role on the hit NBC sitcom after the holidays.
The surgery and healing is going so well that Morgan was able to attend a New York Knicks game on December 17, just one week after his operation.
Morgan isn’t the only 30 Rock cast member to receive a new kidney. Earlier this year Grizz Chapman underwent the same procedure.
