Actress Rebecca De Mornay was given a fairly light sentence for her recent DUI conviction. The actress will serve three years probation after her lawyer plead no contest to a misdemeanor drunk driving charge from October 2007. A second charge for a similar offense was dismissed.

The 48 year old actress starred in Risky Business and The Hand That Rocks The Cradle. In addition to being placed on probation, the celebrity must also serve a three-month program and pay $350.

Looks like celebrity justice is once again no more than a slap on the wrist. Interesting that the actress didn’t bother to show up in court with her attorney. She must have been assured it was a slam dunk.
