Fans of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were shocked yesterday upon learning that the power couple had split. Now those same followers are wondering about the fate of Q’Viva! The Chosen, the television series that they have been filming and producing this summer.
The couple have been busy with an “epic three month long journey to create the ultimate live show celebrating Latin music, artistry and dance.”
The unscripted American Idol-style performance competition set out to “capture the drama and intense emotions of the incredible stories and personal journeys that Jennifer and Marc planned to uncover.”
The Simon Fuller XIX Entertainment project, to be sponsored by BlackBerry, was to have been filmed in three languages and broadcast simultaneously across 21 countries in North America, Central America and South America.
Dare we suggest that perhaps J-Lo and her spouse were not suitable working partners?
At any rate, word on the street is that Lopez has signed on for another stint on American Idol, though FOX has not yet come out with an official announcement.
The couple’s photogenic three-year-old twins Emme and Max stepped out of the shadows and into the spotlight last year in a Gucci photo spread.
