El Centro, California will be the temporary home of royalty now that Captain Harry Wales and his Army Air Corps pilot trainees have arrived for desert helicopter instruction.

Prince Harry will spend the next two months honing his Apache attack and flying skills as part of Exercise Crimson Eagle.

The group will travel to Gila Bend Air Force Auxilliary Field in southern Arizona next month for continued training, where they will learn to fire missiles, rockets and cannons while airborne.

The ‘Top Gun’ airbase was used during the filming of the 1986 blockbuster film starring Tom Cruise.

At the midway point in their training exercises, Prince Harry and his fellow pilots will travel to Las Vegas for a little R&R. The paparazzi will have a field day.
