Journalist and CNN television host Piers Morgan and his wife Celia Walden, a British columnist and writer, are expecting their first child together.
The newsman confirmed the news via Twitter this morning, providing a link to a dailymail.co.uk post that indicated his 34-year-old wife of one year is four months pregnant.
Morgan, 46, has three sons from a previous marriage that ended in 2008: Spencer, 18, Stanley, 14, and Albert, 11.
The television personality left his post as head judge on Britain’s Got Talent when his new television gig Piers Morgan Tonight kicked off in January.
Piers slipped into the time slot vacated by veteran talk show host Larry King, who wrapped his long running CNN prime time telecast after a prolonged ratings slump.
