After a six year stint as a judge on NBC’s American’s Got Talent, Piers Morgan is hanging up that particular television gig.
The CNN talk show host announced last night that he’s had enough. Piers tweeted, “Turned out that juggling’s harder than it looks, so I’m going to focus on CNN.”
He added a shout out to his fellow judges, “Big thanks to NBC, and my friend Simon Cowell, for giving me such an opportunity. It’s been a blast. And congrats to @MrsSOsbourne @howiemmandel & @NickCannon – you don’t have to put up with me any more!
Sharon took to her Twitter page too, “Piers please don’t go.” Howie chimed in, “I guess I’m more annoying than I thought. I’ll miss you.”
Morgan shot back, “I’ll miss you too, like a hole in the cranium @howiemandel.”
One of Morgan’s detractors tweeted, “BREAKING: @PiersMorgan leaves America’s Got Talent after finally accepting he has no talent and is not even American.”
