Nicole Richie and Joel Madden continue to demonstrate that they have hearts of gold and are sharing their good fortune with those less fortunate. They hosted 200 children and their parents on Saturday for a fun filled holiday party.
Paramount Studios was the location, and good works was the mission. Richie and Madden worked with the Los Angeles County’s Beyond Shelter program to provide a memorable Christmas to some less fortunate families.
The holiday party included clowns, face painting, cupcakes, and a visit by Santa and his elves. This was the second large charity event planned and hosted by the celebrity couple this month. Since establishing the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation in November, the pair have been coming up with many creative ways to help others. All of the gifts from Nicole’s five baby showers have been donated to needy mothers to be.
The picture above seems to show the genuine pleasure that the young couple are receiving from their charitable good works. It is truly heartwarming to see how this particular couple has made such a difference for others in such a short period of time. Well Done!
