Melanie Brown took to her Twitter page on Friday morning to announce that she and husband Stephen Belafonte have welcomed a baby daughter to the family, their first child together.
She tweeted, “Finally our baby arrives. Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed, I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing.”
Another tweet to her husband said, “I didn’t think it was possible but I love you even MORE now honey, we have a truly amazing family xxxx.”
Mel kept the baby’s sex a secret during the pregnancy. The newborn joins big sisters Phoenix, 12 and Angel, 4, as well as Belafonte daughter, Giselle, 6.
The former Spice Girl had a very successful stint on Dancing with the Stars in 2007, finishing as runner-up to racer Helio Castroneves.
