While doing a guest spot on The View this week, Mario Cantone revealed that he recently wed his partner of twenty years, Jerry Dixon, after New York legalized same-sex marriage.
The Sex and the City celeb, 51, told Joy Behar that he married the musical theater director for the same reasons that she recently wed her longtime partner Steve .
“I love him. He’s a good man…We’re older now. We’ve been together 20 years. After 20 years you’re like, ‘Thanks for the anti-climactic honeymoon, government.'”
Officiating at the family attended rooftop ceremony that Cantone described as “beautiful” was pastor Jay Bakker, son of the late Tammy Faye Bakker.
