Kids are flooding YouTube with their own rendition’s of the new Lady Gaga single Born This Way. Maria Aragon, 10, has become an overnight viral sensation.
The young girl’s piano version, which has already had three million hits, caught the eye of Ellen DeGeneres first and then the original artist. Gaga posted the video on her Twitter page and tweeted: ” Can’t stop crying watching this. This is why I make music. She is the future.”
It didn’t end there. A Toronto DJ from 99.9 Virgin Radio arranged a telephone chat between the young girl and her current idol. The pair hit it off and Gaga’s camp is setting up an opportunity for the young girl to join Lady G on stage for a duet performance.
Gaga’s new song is currently No. 1 on the Hot 100 Billboard Chart — the 1,000th tune to land at the top spot in its 52-year history. The first song? It was Poor Little Fool by Ricky Nelson.
