Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez announced their legal separation last summer and after nine months he has taken the next step of filing for divorce.
Court documents filed April 9, in L.A. Country Superior Court cite “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the request to end their seven-year union.
The Latin singer is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old twins Emme and Max and has asked the judge to deny Lopez spousal support.

The former power couple, married in 2004, have gone this route before. This will be her third divorce and his second.
