Lily Allen and husband Sam Cooper have welcomed their first child, a baby daughter. The blessed event came just one year after the singer suffered a traumatic second trimester miscarriage, her second in the past few years.
The couple exchanged wedding vows in June 2011 with a reception that was held on the grounds of their property.
Baby arrived on Friday night. First to share the news was Lily’s DJ, close friend and former boyfriend Seb Chew who had this to say via Twitter, “Sending out love to Lily, Sam and Mini Cooper…. YES.”
Allen offered up a short but meaningful version of ‘totally amazing’ in her own tweet:
