Lady Gaga suffered a concussion after being hit on the head with a pole at her concert in New Zealand Sunday.

During her “Judas” number a male backup dancer accidentally hit Gaga in the head with a long metal prop that he was attempting to remove from the set.

The iconic singer went backstage for a brief time to inspect the injury and gather her wits before returning to perform an additional 16 songs.

She told the crowd, “I want to apologize. I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion, but don’t you worry. I will finish this show.”

After the show her makeup artist, Tara Savelo tweeted: “Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay. She wants you to know she loves you. I’m taking care of her. Can’t believe she finished the show.”

A week ago Justin Bieber also finished a concert after banging his head on a glass wall.
