Keira Knightley will soon get back from her vacation to Italy for the premiere of her new movie, Last Night. She just found out her London flat has been burglarized.
According to a source, Keira is “mortified”, and feels “violated”, unsure if she actually wants to continue living in the same place.
The thieves entered through a “faulty communal door“. They took two laptop computers from her house, and the police are worried some valuable information might possibly have been stored on them.
The police are now waiting for Knightley to get back from Italy to report any other stolen items to them for the investigation.
Since there were two other break-ins at other flats in her neighborhood the week before, the police figured the thieves were not planning to break-in to her house. A forensics team has been sent to dust for prints and investigate further.
The Atonement and Pirates actress shares the flat with her brother Caleb, and is seriously considering moving out.
In the past, she has had a few problems with stalkers, but this is on a different level. Police do not believe this to be a factor of her fame at all.
