After a long holiday weekend and not much happening, we thought we would update you on the progress that Lindsay Lohan is making with her court-mandated classes and community service hours.
Lilo has been attending the court-ordered shoplifting alternative classes that were doled out by a judge after she stole a necklace, and has completed 45 of the 360 hours of community service at the Downtown Women’s Shelter.
Lohan has a year to get that accomplished, which wouldn’t be a hardship if she spent just one hour a day at the facility. The last time she delivered a progress report to the judge was six weeks ago. At that time she had completed 33 hours at the shelter. With a mere 12 additional hours under her belt, it would appear that progress is slow at best.
The actress must also spend 100 hours at the Los Angeles County morgue. She’s been putting off that task, reportedly dreading it more than any other aspect of her court-sanctioned requirements.
Lohan will appear before Judge Stephanie Sautner on October 19 for a progress report hearing. At the last hearing the judge warned her to “get cracking” because she would accept no excuses for why the work wasn’t being completed in a timely manner.
Regarding the upcoming John Gotti biopic, Lindsay’s publicist Steve Honig told Radaronline, “Hopefully Lindsay will be signed on very soon.” What once sounded like a done deal now seems a little less so. Interesting…
