Kate Hudson sat down today for an interview with Matt Lauer, co-host of the Today Show. She gave the morning talk show veteran a real scoop when she announced that she was engaged and showed off her sparkler.
The very pregnant actress was on the show to promote her newest film Something Borrowed, but Lauer honed in on the engagement ring. He asked: “Could you place your hand in my hand for a second please? I just want to see something. Is this new?”
She giggled as the camera got a closeup view and replied: “This is new!”
Hudson’s fiance is Matthew Bellamy, frontman for the British band Muse. She said: “He’s a beautiful man and I’m very excited. He’s very sweet and very romantic.”
