Sextuplet mom Jenny Masche has filed a petition for legal separation from her husband Bryan Mache, who was arrested earlier this month for threatening his wife and father-in-law, and resisting arrest.

Jenny, a physician’s assistant, filed for separation just days after her husband was led away from her parents home in handcuffs and booked at the Yavapi County Sheriff’s Department in Arizona. Booking photo and the arrest details here.

Court documents that were filed on September 17, indicate that Jenny is seeking sole legal custody and primary physical custody of the children, with reasonable visitation for Bryan. She is asking for child support but has requested that the court make a determination that neither party pay spousal support to the other.

In addition, Jenny is seeking an equitable division of joint property, and debt, and is requesting that each party pay their own attorney fees.

Arizona law mandates that both parties must complete a Parent Education Program – failure to do so would put either party in contempt of court.

The couple, who wed in 2004, appear on the WE network reality show Raising Sextuplets with their six three-year-olds: Bailey, Savannah, Cole, Grant, Blake and Molli.

This family has been heading down the same path as Jon & Kate Gosselin for some time. We’d warn Octomom Nadya Suleman to tread lightly but she has opted to raise her 14 children without a spouse. Her world is imploding just the same – with mortgage foreclosure looming large.
