It has been seventeen years since the tragic death of Nirvana rocker Kurt Cobain, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in 1994. To honor his memory, 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto channeled the late rocker in a tribute video.
Leto looked remarkably like Kurt while performing to Nirvana tunes Pennyroyal Tea and Rape Me. When asked what possessed him to produce the video, he replied: “I heard today was the day Kurt passed away 17 years ago. Can’t believe it’s been that long. So grateful for his contributions and inspiration. Not sure I’d be doing this if it weren’t for him.”
It should be interesting to hear what Cobain’s widow Courtney Love has to say about the labor or love.
