Exotic dancer and adult film actress Janine Lindemulder is the ex-wife of West Coast Choppers founder Jesse G. James. During their short-lived marriage, the porn star gave birth to their daughter Sunny James, who is now 5-years-old.
When Jesse left Lindemulder, he married Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock. Together, she and Jesse have provided a half-time living arrangement for his daughter, in a shared custody arrangement.
Things turned sour for Janine in August 2008, when she pled guilty to federal charges of willful failure to pay federal income taxes, totaling $200,000. In December 2008, Lindemulder was sentenced to six months in federal prison.
The sentencing judge ordered that she live in a residential community corrections center for an additional six months after her release from prison, and, then comply with one year of supervised release after that. Lindemulder, who has reportedly made 100 adult films, was also ordered to pay an estimated $294,000 in back taxes and fines.
Janine was incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution at Victorville, near Adelanto, California, and was released on July 13, 2009, and is currently living in an L.A. halfway house.
After her conviction, Jesse James and his wife Sandra Bullock were given temporary full custody of Sunny James. They have since petitioned a judge in Orange County, near L.A., to rule that Lindemulder cannot provide a safe haven for her daughter. The court filing suggests that Janine should be “restrained from allowing the child around pornographers, drug addicts, guns and firearms, felons and other unsafe environments.”
The couple is awaiting a ruling from the bench. It is likely they will be summoned to give evidence in the case. Stay tuned…
