War hero and Dancing with the Stars winner J.R. Martinez announced today that his girlfriend Diana Gonzalez-Jones is pregnant with their first child.
The baby girl will arrive in the spring and the couple couldn’t be happier. Martinez, 28, gushed, “We found out just last week and we are over the moon. Diana has a little baby bump now and it’s the cutest thing ever. With the holidays coming up, this is the biggest and best gift we could get.”
Diana and J.R. met on the set of All My Children in 2008 when he landed a role on the soap and she was an assistant to the executive producer. They remained friends until last year when thing suddenly morphed into a romantic relationship.
Gonzalez-Jones was on hand for every one of J.R.’s performances during his successful stint on DWTS. They have since wondered how they could possibly top 2011 in the coming year. Martinez quipped, “Well, we have our answer!”
