Actress Halle Berry broke her foot this morning will filming on location in Spain for her upcoming flick Cloud Atlas.
There is really no crazy story that goes along with the accident. According to a TMZ report, the actress simply suffered a misstep while on the property where she is staying.
After hearing a crack, followed by intense pain, Berry was taken to Policlinica Miramar for x-rays and the application of a bulky white cast that covers her foot and lower leg – photos here.
The production company will shoot around Halle in the short term, and will likely film her scenes from the waist up, and call upon a stunt double as needed.
Cloud Atlas is set to be released in October 2012. Halle’s co-stars include Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant and Susan Sarandon.
