FOX is rolling out their new fall lineup, including the Zooey Deschanel sitcom New Girl.
The series chronicles the life of Jess Day, who suffers a surprise breakup with her model boyfriend. She moves in with three single guys who try to teach her about love and life.
The show’s young ensemble cast takes a fresh and outrageous look at modern male-female relationships.
Lamorne Morris, one of the roommates, believes that “humor always wins” and as a result, viewers will really enjoy the show.
Hannah Simone plays best friend Cece , a girl who has a lot of no-nonsense relationship advice.
Max Greenfield plays Schmidt, the playboy of the group. He wants Jess as a roommate but mostly because he thinks it will give him an insider’s perspective on the workings of the female mind.
This writer had an opportunity to watch an advance screening of the pilot episode and chat with the co-stars. They believe that their audience will easily relate to the comedic series and will be hooked after the first show.
The series premieres Tuesday, September 20 at 9/8 central on FOX.
