When the summer blockbuster ‘Rock of Ages’ hits theaters later this week you’ll want to pay close attention during the pole-dancing sequence of Julianne Hough to see if you can spot her ‘DWTS’ pro brother Derek Hough in the crowd.
The siblings were award-winning partners in competitive ballroom dancing as children and have continued to support each other despite the fact that Julianne has gone in another direction to seek fame and fortune as a country singer and actress.
Derek explained how he happened to make a cameo appearance in ROA. The dance pro said, “In the strip club, of all places, which is really weird. I was just there visiting, and I walked in and director Adam Shankman was like, ‘Sit down there.'”
It didn’t take long for Julianne’s brother to get uncomfortable with her sexy gyrations. He joked, “It was just funny because once she started dancing and doing the whole thing, I was like, ‘I think I’m going to go now.'”
