Demi Moore was rushed to an L.A. hospital on Monday after suffering a seizure. New information suggests that she was engaged in the dangerous use of a nitrous oxide inhalant prior to the 911 emergency call.
The 49-year-old was doing whip-its with a specific type of inhalant that young people typically use to get a cheap high. Her friend got scared when the actress began lapsing in and out of consciousness and phoned for paramedics.
Whip-it nitrous oxide is available at most grocery stores. It comes in small metal canisters and is used by restaurants to recharge whipping cream dispensers. A pack of 24 is available at Whole Foods in Beverly Hills for slightly more than $10.
Meanwhile, Aston Kutcher has been enjoying life in Sao Paulo, Brazil and has remained mum on his estranged wife’s medical condition. He did hit Twitter to share a photo and bizarre comment shortly after news broke regarding Moore’s hospitalization.
It is being reported that the actress has backed out of her small role in the movie Lovelace. Demi had been slated to portray 60’s feminist Gloria Steinem in a project that is currently filming.
